Check List Please: When you eat late at night, your body is still hard at work digesting that last meal. This might not sound like a major big deal, but digestion requires energy, a lot of energy! And yes, that will for sure interfere with the quality of your sleep. Instead of slipping into a deep restful sleep and floating peacefully into dream land, your body is stuck in “processing active-mode.” By cutting off food and calorie drinks 3-4 hours before bed, you’re giving your body a much needed break, allowing it to focus on what really matters: deep, rejuvenating sleep. And we all know that good quality sleep is the secret weapon for a sharp mind, glowing skin, the time for the healing process to take place and to continue boosting a strong immune system!
