Halloween Treats That Fit Your PowerfulME Lifestyle

Gosh you guys, the year is just flying by so fast! Time flies when you're having fun right, and Halloween has already arrived! And,.... We're ready for more fun!
BRING IT ON!!!

This means it's time for spooky fun treats, BUT as you all know, if following the PowerfulME Lifestyle, these treats need to be equally delicious and super duper healthy!
I’ll admit, while I'm all about the high-protein, balanced fat, and good clean carb lifestyle, I try my very best never to pass up a chance to get creative in
The PowerfulME Kitchen.

I am happy to share a few of my favorite Halloween recipes to satisfy your Halloween cravings and keep you on track, all while crushing your goals and remaining powerful!

1. Peek-a-Boo Stuffed Peppers
These protein-packed, savory "pumpkins" are stuffed with lean ground turkey, black beans, brown rice, and a sprinkle of cheese.
Fun Tip: Carve each pepper to give it a pumpkin face before filling it up.
Pop them in the oven, and … taa-daaa, you've got a tasty and adorable Halloween treat that’s high in protein and balanced with complex carbs and minimal fats.

- Protein: Lean Turkey/Chicken breast minced/Black beans
- Carbs: Brown rice/Black beans/Peppers
- Fats: Optional sprinkle of Cheese and Avocado on top

2. The Witch’s Mean-Green Dip
Say hello to the Witches Halloween green goodness dip! Whip up a bowl of avocado, cut up spring onion + high-protein plain Greek yogurt. Pair it with cut up cucumber fingers, mixed pepper strips and carrot sticks and you're good to go.

- Protein: Greek yogurt
- Carbs: Veggie sticks
- Fats: Creamy avocado

3. Easy-Peezy Monster Bites
Blend together chocolate & vanilla whey protein powder, oats, sugar-free almond butter, and dark chocolate chips. These little monster bites are super easy to make and just perfect to keep on hand.
Fun Tip: Shape each one into a “monster face” with spooky edible eyes, and store them in the fridge for a grab-and-go Halloween snack!

- Protein: Protein powder
- Carbs: Oats and a touch of dark chocolate
- Fats: Almond butter

4. Bloody Meatballs
Roll lean turkey seasoned mince into little meatballs and bake until golden and succulent.
Serve them with a sugar-free blood-red tomato salsa dipping sauce for that extra touch of Halloween horror, & a dollop of sour cream on the side, if you wish.
These are protein-heavy, with just the right balance of fats and carbs.

- Protein: Turkey or Chicken
- Carbs: Tomato Salsa
- Fats: Sour Cream, add a sprinkle of cheese for fun

My spooky high protein recipes will keep you satisfied, energized, and feeling festive without veering off your health goals.
Halloween CAN be delicious and nutritious - No Excuses!

"Loved the cooking session today in The PowerfulME Kitchen Michelene!
I make these at home as well and if I can find a different kind of lean meat other than beef, I’m going to try it I usually only do one burger, but now I see that protein is much more essential to satiation, so I’m gonna be bumping up my protein for sure in the future
Thanks again"
